Reservation Policies

1. Confirmation

Reservations must be confirmed by phone. You may either: Call us at (800)398-0346 to reserve your trip and give us a credit card number
– OR - Submit the form on this page, and we will call you to get a credit card number. We will then email you a confirmation letter.

2. Payment

A credit card number is required to confirm your reservation. We prefer Visa or MasterCard, but we also accept American Express. Cash is accepted in Stanley and Sun Valley. Full payment is due by 1:00 p.m. the day before your trip.

3. Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your trip until 1:00 p.m. the day before and receive a refund, minus a cancellation charge of $5 per person. Later cancellations do not receive refunds. We do not cancel trips because of weather. Instead, we provide additional gear as necessary, including full-length ponchos. Please remember that Central Idaho has an arid climate. Rain normally lasts a short time. It would be a shame to cancel your trip only to have the sun come out for the rest of the day.

4. Types of Rafts

In a paddle raft the guests and the guide work together to maneuver down the river. In an oar raft the guide does all of the maneuvering with two long oars. Most guests prefer paddle rafts in order to be part of the action. But seniors and young children often go in oar rafts because they provide a gentler ride. We also offer one-person inflatable kayaks for guests 14 and older.

5. Risk

Guests must agree to accept risks normally associated with the sport of whitewater rafting. (See Safety Concerns.)
